I use it on my Surface Pro 3 and it's just not enjoyable to use. I end up using my android phone which isn't ideal when I want to download a file from a group I belong to. But, since this feature isn't available on the windows version, I'm stuck. I would have thought windows 10 Facebook would be top notch. It keeps shutting down after a few seconds. Very annoying and unusable. Does anyone even update this app? More I use my Windows 8. On 25 Nov 2015 2 days ago , when I launched the app, it loaded, then crashed. I stayed on my taskbar, showing that it remained open. When I clicked on it again, same thing happened. When I open with a browser, it operates just fine so it's definitely something with the app. It doesn't stay open long enough for me to hit any buttons, so troubleshooting while it's open is not an option. It takes FOREVER to launch, doesn't stay running in the background if you back-button out of it just like the latest Messenger , scrolling and typing is laggy, autocorrect often fails to engage, it's filled with ridiculous sound effects you can't turn off, there's no way to filter events you're not attending out of Outlook Calendar, contact sync occasionally breaks and links have to be manually reestablished in People, links to addresses open the mobile HERE Maps website instead of the Maps app, photo uploads are limited to your camera roll folder... But at least it's here! More There's not really any point in getting this app. You may as well bookmark the website and just use it in your browser. This app has no scroll bar, so the only way to scroll is with arrow keys, and sometimes it decides not to cooperate. When in splitscreen mode, sharing the screen with another application, it cuts off part of the UI, rather than just condensing it to fit. Notifications and links are kind of wonky. It's not atrocious, and I'd like to keep it if these problems were fixed. But for now, it's a pass. Half the time you can't reply because; 1. When keys do appear no typing takes place.
